A second exhibition from this partnership, is in production and focuses on the world of kings and queens, princes, princesses, knights and other associates.

Why this theme? Because authors and illustrators transform this classic symbol on universal themes and values: despotism, tyranny, sharing, kindness, rebellion, parental relationships, etc.. Here is an exhibition where appear reflection on our contemporary lives. Dessine-moi des princes et des princesses will be launched during the Montreal book fair (14 to 19 November), and will be on tour in November 2012.

Dessine-moi des mots - 1st exhbition

The first exhibition, entitled Dessine-moi des motsaddressed a thematic constructed around the poetic of french language and presented, in many ways, how illustrators are a major part of the success of youth literature. The selected books presented the use of language and images in different genre ; such as alphabet books, rhymes and poetry.

Communication-Jeunesse and Illustration Quebec have therefore selected 10 books based on the love for French language thematic. This exhibition is now travelling across the province to show the work of authors and illustrators.
