FEBRUARY
Launching of Les contes illustrés
Date : Thursday February 23rd 2012 at 6 p.m.
Venue : Illustration Quebec Gallery, Belgo Building
Illustration Québec is interpreting the great classics of our childhood with beautiful illustrations of its members. The first two stories Le Petit Poucet (Tom Thumb) and La belle au bois dormant (Sleeping Beauty) by Charles Perrault will be available starting Thursday February 23rd 2012 directly online!

Each story presents nine different illustrators. A beautiful challenge to layout and mix different styles in the same tale. The launch will take place on February 23rd 2012 at 6 p.m. at Illustration Quebec Gallery.
A great opportunity to come and meet the illustrators behind this project and the artistic director Francois Escalmel.

Portfolio Event IGDA
Date : March 15th 2012
Venue : École des Arts Visuels - La Fabrique - Quebec City
Illustration Québec portfolio will be present at the portfolio event organized by the International Game Developers Association (Quebec City).

Nenette Opening night
Date : March 21st at 6 p.m.
Venue : Illustration Quebec Gallery - Belgo Building
Catherine Genest, artist illustrator, present her new exhibition Nenette.
The exhibition will be held at Illustration Quebec Gallery from March 21st to April 20th 2012.
Get Together - Les écrivains de demain
Date : Friday March 30th from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Venue : Illustration Quebec Gallery - Belgo Building
Meeting between the illustrators and the writers who won the contest Les écrivains de demain, which took place during the activities of La semaine du français.
This project is organize in collaboration with the School Board of Montreal.
APRIL
Quebec City Book fair
Illustration Quebec will be present to the Quebec Book Fair, which runs from April 11th to 15th 2012.
Annual General Assembly
and Our "Moving Party"
Date : Thursday April 26th 2012
Event : General Association Assembly from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. followed by a departure Party until midnight !
Venue : Illustration Quebec Gallery - Belgo Building
Illustration Québec invites you to its Annual General Assembly from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thereafter, we will host a party to celebrate our departure.

Distribution of our magazine "ICONIQ" our new promotional tool
We are very pleased to introduce our new promotional tool. In this magazine, you will find 61 illustrators through their self-portrait and a questionnaire introducing them. A unique, dynamic and fun way to discover talent and personality of professional illustrators.
This is an editorial concept that will allow art directors and image buyers to discover their current or future partners. More details to come !
