We will be in Mexico from November 17th to December 1st 2011 !

As part of a grant from the Office Québec-Amérique, Illustration Québec will be present at the FIL - Guadalajara International Book Fair to represent its members and build relationships with publishers.

We will take this opportunity to pass by the FILIJ - Children's Book Fair in Mexico with the financial support from Le ministère de la Culture, des Communications et de la Condition Féminine (MCCCF) to prepare and organize a collective exhibition which will take place in 2012 in CONACULTA.

November 17th to November 20th : Participation at the 31st edition of FILIJ - Children's Book Fair. We will give a lecture, to the publishers and illustrators, on the field of illustration in Quebec and on the association (over 500 000 visitors in 9 days, this edition takes place at the Arts Center of Mexico).

From November 21st to November 26th : We will participate at the literary week at the Art Center of the state of Oaxaca in San Agustin Elta. This event intend to present workshops and conferences, always with publishers, illustrators and writers.

From November 27th to December 1st : Presence at the 25th edition of the Guadalajara International Book Fair. Meeting with editors and with the French Alliance during the book fair. The fair attracted in 2010 over 609 000 visitors, 1 928 publishers from 40 countries and there were 471 books présentations. In 2011, the featured country is Germany.
