Biography

Alexa est une artiste pluridisciplinaire qui travaille autant les médiums traditionnels et numériques que le patchwork et le quilt. Elle s’inspire de la nature et du folk art et met de l’avant des illustrations texturées qui rappellent le fait-main. Ses forces sont la composition, les choix de couleurs et la composante conceptuelle de ses œuvres. Alexa envisage faire une carrière en pattern design ainsi qu’en tant qu’illustratrice et quiteuse autonome.

Alexa is a multidisciplinary artist and quilter. She creates conceptual artworks that take inspiration from nature, quilts and folk art and her work is highly textured, as she often works with both traditional and digital medium. Alexa’s work shines through composition, colour and a sensitive approach to concept and composition. Her goal is to work in textile pattern design and as a freelance illustrator and crafter.
