I was given an assignment to design a possible poster advertising an upcoming school event. The poster's theme was 'Nature' and the event was art related, but otherwise I was given free reign to do whatever I wanted with it.

The timeframe I was given was a bit too short for traditional watercolours like I wanted, but the watercolour textures I overlayed on the piece helped give off the feeling I was hoping for.
I wanted to illustrate a whimsical world, with the character emulating the people attending the event the poster was meant to advertise.
